Suffolk Coastal Local Plan, First Draft Local Plan
Public Consultation: Friday 20th July – Friday 14th September 2018 (17.00)
The purpose of this email is to inform you that the Suffolk Coastal Local Plan First Draft has been published for consultation.
The Suffolk Coastal Local Plan, which covers the period to 2036, contains planning policies and site allocations which will be used to determine planning applications in the area. It will set out the level of growth which needs to be planned for, identify where that growth should be located and how it should be delivered.
In 2017, we published the Issues and Options Local Plan document for public consultation. Having considered all the comments received and assessed all of the sites received; a First Draft Local Plan has been prepared for public consultation and you are invited to let us know your thoughts on the policies and site allocations within the document.
Please note that there will be no extensions to this consultation period, any comments must be received by 17.00 on Friday 14th September 2018.
To view the First Draft Local Plan or to submit comments please visit the Council’s website: http://www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/planning/local-plans/suffolk-coastal-local-plan/local-plan-review/
